The official languages of the Conference are English and Ukrainian.

All posters and slides (oral presentations) must be presented in English.

All presenters must register to attend N&N-2020.

Guidelines for abstracts

All registered participants should submit a short abstract of their oral presentation or poster. The abstract must be in English.

Abstracts must be submitted by e-mail : nano.lviv.2020@gmail.com.

All abstracts will be reviewed.

For accepted abstracts, the presenting authors are required to be in attendance at their oral/poster sessions.

Only Abstracts of registered participants will be printed. At least one of the authors must be registered for the Conference.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Conference Abstracts.

Oral presentations

We kindly ask all the lecturers which will present their work with a lecture on the N&N-2020 to prepare your talk within the following time limits:


- plenary lectures will be 30 minutes long (including 5-10 minutes for discussion);

- oral presentation will be 15 minutes long (including 5 minutes for discussion).


Important: plan to upload your lecture at least one day before or at least 2 hours before your session starts. Please upload your lecture in PPT format.

Use standard fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial, Calibri, or Verdana for PPT presentations.

Guidelines for posters

The poster should describe the background for the project, the aim of the project, the methods used, achieved results, practical implementation and conclusions. 

Posters should be put up at least one hour prior to the start of your assigned session. All poster boards will be numbered, indicating assigned poster spaces for each session. A staff person will be on hand to help you find your space in the exhibit hall. Fixing material will be supplied and the location of the poster will be announced.

Please prepare your poster in A0 format in lanscape layout (1189 mm width x 841mm height).

We would like to inform you about a change in recommended poster size. Recommended Poster size is A1 (landscape layout).

If your poster is already made up in A0 format we accept it too.
